OfficeCapture Installation Notes.
ePlum OfficeCapture is an integrated tool. It means that OfficeCapture runs directly from MSWord menu or command panel.
To install OfficeCapture you ought to have MSWord installed and at least once running.
Note, that MSWord must be closed during installation process.
System Requirements.
- Microsoft Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP SP4
- Internet Explorer v.4 (Internet Explorer v.5 or higher recommended)
- Microsoft Office 97/2000/XP/2003 standart installation (MSWord must be at least once run)
To use 'direct e-mail' feature of OfficeCapture you must have common e-mail client such as:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Outlook Express
- Netscape Messenger 4.75 or later
- Eudora Mail
- The Bat! 1.49 or later
Outlook 98 is not supported.
OfficeCapture uses a printer driver to convert docs to images.
At least one EMF-supporting printer must be installed in your system.
EMF is a general standard for common Windows-compatible printers.
OfficeCapture DOES NOT support Post-Script printers.
If you have no acceptable printers at all, please install one of the system printer drivers. We recommend Canon BJC-4550, or Canon S6300.
